　　Yichun belongs to middle ?subtropical monsoon climate zone .It characterized by clearly-cut seasons. The spring and autumn is short ,the winter and summer is long . Winter is cold and summer is hot . ?spring is wet and autumn is drought .The quantity of heat is ample ,rainfall is plentiful ,sunlight is enough ,frost term is short .Climate resource is very enough and suitable for the crop and forest to grow . Yichun has a multiform and changefully climate conditions that cause by a lot of ?factor ,such as the season wind is early or late;the distribution of season wind is asymmetric;the difference for the hypsography ,altitude ,the distribution of the climate gene etc. So ,the waterlogging ,cruel hot and cold ,wind hail etc. weather disaster offer happen . Temperature : The citywide annual average temperature is 16.2 ℃ - 17.7 ℃ ,southeast is higher while northwest is lower ;In winter ,the coldest month is January with an average of 4.6 ℃ - 5.3 ℃ ,the temperature of south is higher than north ; In the summer ,the hottest month is July with an average of 17.3 ℃ - 29.6 ℃ ,the temperature of east is higher than west ;As to the spring and autumn, the temperature of different county (town,district) don’t has a big difference than the summer ,but has a obvious difference than winter ;No frost term is 256
to 281 days ,Gao’an term is longest and Tonggu term is shortest .The excessive history hottest temperature is 41.6℃ which has happened in the Yuanzhou district on 16th August 1953 ,the excessive history coldest temperature is －15.8℃ which has happened in the Fengxin county on 29th December 1991 .

Rainfall : Citywide annual average rainfall is 1642.9mm ,each county annual rainfull? ?is 1545.6mm-1736.3mm ,Tonggu is most one ?,Fengcheng is least one ;During April to June ,the citywide average rainfall is 754.2mm ?,which accupy 46.6% of whole year ?;Due to the effect of monsoon ,the rainfall per month become more and more ?in the front half of the ?year and less and less ?in the latter half of the year ;The percent of each season in each place of whole city is : the first quarter is 21% ,the second quarter is ?46% , the third quarter is ?22% , the fourth quarter is ?11% ;During May and June , the rainfull is the most one which the citywide monthly average is 273.9mm , Dec. is the least month which the citywide monthly average is 52.8mm . The most annual rainfall is 2848.5mm in history ?which happened in Tonggu county in 1998 . The ?least annual rainfall is 1025.5mm in history ?which happened in Gao’an city ?in 1978 .

Sunlight : Citywide annual average ?sunlight is 1737.1 hours . Fengcheng ?is the most ?one with 1864.9 hours and Tonggu is the least one with 1500.0 hours . ?The change of sunlight hours every year of? the front half of the year is larger than in the latter ?half of the year ;The sunlight in the July is the most one with 259.0 hours and the least one ?with 83.4 hours in March .The most annual sunlight is ?2481.8 hours in history ?which happened in Fengcheng city ?in 1963 ?and ,the least annual sunlight is 1152.2 hours in history ?which happened in Tonggu county in 1997 .
